Angela Yip, BSc, RMT
Angela is a registered massage therapist with a Bachelor of Science degree in general biology. Her approach includes deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy, which are mainly used to treat common pain and dysfunction caused by postural and overuse injury.
Echo Bai, BSc, RMT
Echo has the combined knowledge of both Western and Eastern science of human anatomy and physiology. She is an Honored graduate of the RMT program with a bachelor degree of science majoring in Traditional Chinese Pharmacology (herbology). She taught Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy, and pharmacology before becoming a registered massage therapist. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
Jackie Slomba, RMT
Jackie graduated in 2008 and has been working at Minoru since then. Her techniques include deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, joint play and myofascial release. She treats all patients of all ages, from infant to adult, and can accommodate pregnant women.
Jason Sandher, RMT
Jason became an RMT in 2010. His practice consists of helping his patients live a pain-free lifestyle with use of myofascial release, Swedish massage, muscle energy, trigger point release, passive/active stretching, deep tissue and relaxation techniques. Jason works with a variety of conditions, including postural and overuse injuries. As Jason has represented the Canadian National Cricket Team, his passion is working with athletes in a wide variety of sports, aiming to prevent and cope with injuries.
Pierre Tang, RMT
Pierre is a graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy with a background in Human Kinetics. His passion for anatomy, natural healing and helping others led him to become an RMT. He believes in working together with every patient to create an individualized treatment plan. He ensures that his patients learn proper self-care by demonstrating specific stretches, exercises and other techniques that can further aid their healing process. He is trained in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, manual lymph drainage, joint/spinal mobilizations and always looking to expand his knowledge and expertise. Outside of the clinic, Pierre is involved in numerous sports leagues and coaches badminton in his spare time.
Michelle Nguyen, RMT
Michelle graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3,000-hour program, where she learned to treat a variety of conditions, such as low back pain, stress and fatigue, whiplash, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle strains, arthritis, tendinitis and headaches, among other conditions. Her techniques include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint play and much more. Her goal is to help people return to a pain-free and healthy lifestyle. She continues to build her practice and she customizes treatments for specific results.
Wynne Tong, RMT
Wynne is a Registered Massage Therapist with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Cell Biology. Wynne treats a wide variety of conditions using a number of techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue therapy, joint mobility, and myofascial release. Her approach is to develop individualized treatment plans while taking into consideration of other compensating structures in the body, hoping to help facilitate the body's ability to recover from the condition and/or to restore the body's optimal level of performance. Wynne is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Erin Daly, RMT
Erin graduated from the West Coast College of Massage therapy's 3000 hour massage diploma program in 2005. She enjoys working with a variety of people/conditions from the weekend warrior to Iron Man competitors. Her first experience with alternative therapies began after being in a major car accident as a child. She learned then how effective they were at helping her regain function and reduce pain. She likes to work with people to attain their goals and is a huge believer in the mind-body connection when it comes to pain.
Erin uses a combination of deep Swedish, myofscial and trigger point release, muscle energy technique, and joint play during her treatments.
When not at work she enjoys spending time in the outdoors be it hiking, trail running, skiing, or snowshoeing. She also loves to travel.
